The IC200ETM001 is a VersaMax expansion transmitter module used to extend a PLC system by linking up to seven additional expansion racks via compatible ERM receiver modules. It provides a front‑mounted 26‑pin female expansion connector to interface with the receiver and includes a 16‑pin male serial programming port for firmware updates to an adjacent NIU. The module features a high‑speed expansion interface and two status LEDs: a power LED indicating 5 VDC supplied from the CPU/NIU, and an EXP TX LED reflecting link activity to the receiver. Installation is to the left of a VersaMax CPU or NIU on a 35 mm x 7.5 mm DIN rail with proper grounding. Supported receiver variants are ERM001 (isolated, 15 m max cable) and ERM002 (non‑isolated, 750 m max cable). Default data rate is 250 kbit/s to support maximum cable length, with an optional 1 Mbit/s setting when total cable length is under 250 m and no ERM002 modules are present; NIU I/O stations remain fixed at 250 kbit/s. This module expands I/O capacity across racks while maintaining reliable backplane‑level communication.
